Som8 Cafeteria fleca in Cadaqués offers a cozy spot that feels like a slice of local life rather than the usual tourist cafes. This small coffee shop is where the community seems to come for both their morning boost and a laid-back mid-morning break. The outdoor seating area, tucked along a quiet street, is perfect for watching the town slowly wake up, with a relaxed atmosphere that invites lingering over a cup of coffee or a simple lunch.

Coffee here stands out in quality and freshness, often noted by visitors as the best they’ve found in the area. Pastries and baked goods—from crusty baguettes to sweet treats—are freshly made, reflecting the emphasis on straightforward but well-crafted flavors. The menu leans into local preferences with items like tomato and cheese pastries, sardine baguettes, and chocolate-filled breads, which showcase a blend of classic Catalan bakery traditions with a casual cafe approach.

Som8 fits well into the rhythm of Cadaqués, serving everyone from early risers grabbing breakfast sandwiches to afternoon visitors decelerating with fresh-squeezed orange juice and a light bite. The owners' approachable manner adds to the welcoming vibe, making it easy for both locals and travelers to feel at ease. Pricing is reasonable, which contributes to its appeal as a place for daily visits rather than just occasional stops.

For those wandering the town or seeking a modest, quality-focused meal away from busier tourist hubs, Som8 offers a steady, grounded option. Its quiet patio and heartfelt service create a sense of connection to the neighborhood, especially on sunny mornings when outdoor tables fill up with people chatting or quietly enjoying the day. If you’re after a coffee spot where the routine feels gently unhurried and the food is uncomplicated but thoughtfully prepared, this cafeteria is worth carving out some time for.

Food, coffee, and service were all great! I got the hot beef sandwich, and it was full of unique flavors. There were lots of outdoor seating for some people watching. It's a great breakfast/lunch spot while walking around town.

This was our favorite coffee shop of our trip to Cadaques. The owners are incredibly sweet and accommodating. It's not a typical tourist spot, which makes it better in our eyes. The coffee is great, the breakfast menu is simple but delicious, and the pastries are tasty. One of the best bakeries for baguettes as well. Please go at least once.

I highly recommend this café! Very nice coffee and delicious pastry :) The price is very, very fair and you can also get oat milk here. We were on a hiking trip and we could also order a baguette with cheese & tomato to go which was great!

The coffee at our hotel was from a machine and terrible so we searched for local cafes. Som8 is a small family owned cafe and we got two cortados for around 3.50 euros. We both agreed it was the best coffee we've had after traveling around Costa Brava for a few days! In addition, the staff are so kind. We left our giant water bottle and figured it probably got tossed since there wasn't much water left, but when we went back, the owner had set it aside for us. We enjoyed this spot so much, we came back again the next morning!

Beautiful little cafe with lovely bread and pastries and oat milk (for those who prefer it!) and lovely staff. Well worth the short walk from the beach.
